Gobo-Ningyo (Doll)

There is an old tradition that people make a present of Hina dolls in celebration of a girl's first Doll's Festival in Japan.
The Gobo doll was born from the same tradition.
There are two different styles; hariko and neri-mono, represented by dolls such as Hariko-tora (papier-m?ch? tigers) and Tenjin dolls.
With either style, the whole process is carried out by hand.
